About the event
If your child loves an excuse to dress up, a beautifully set table, and something sweet, she is going to love this.
We are having a real tea party!
The children will pour, pass, sip, chat, laugh, and learn what to do at a tea table without sitting through a long lecture about forks. We will practice how to use a napkin, stir without creating a tiny whirlpool, pass food politely, join the conversation, and be a thoughtful guest.
Each guest will also create their own Good Manners Wand, filled with reminders that good manners are not about being perfect. They are about helping the people around us feel comfortable, welcome, and included.
They will leave knowing what to do at a tea table, feeling proud of themselves, and possibly prepared to correct the rest of the family. :P
Dressy outfits are welcome, but never required. Just have them wear…
